In Honor, you can connect Materials in a course to provide a smooth progression of you course Topics with Narrative. Narratives are rich-text materials you create in Honor to help guide your Learners’ experiences and make connections which would be unspoken otherwise.
To add a Narrative to your course Topic, open a Topic in Create and click the + icon on the right.
In Narratives, you can play around with different formatting options such as Lists, Headers, and external Links.
You can also add Images to your Narratives to add more variety and context to the text.
Note: Images will be displayed in Narrative at a maximum height of 496 px. In order for your image to fill the full width of the Narrative window, it should have a landscape aspect ratio of 16:9 or wider.
Press the File Upload icon in the top bar to attach a file for learners to download. You can select a material from the topic, choose from files in your materials library, or upload a file directly.
Attached files can be of any file type, even those which cannot be added as Material.
Once you’re done, make sure to click Save to save your changes before exiting.
Not sure where to start? Press the Assist button on a new Narrative to generate some suggested text based on other topic material, or the Refine button on an existing Narrative to view some recommended adjustments.
