When you enroll a user into a course, there are different sets of permissions they can have in that course. In Honor, the possible enrollment roles a user can have are:
Student
Students are able to access the course in Honor Learn, engaging with course materials and their fellow learners.
They have no access to the course in Create, regardless of their account-level role.
Viewer
Viewers are able to see the course in Create, complete with analytics, learner engagement, exercise responses, and assessment submissions.
Viewers are not able to change any of the course materials, details, visibility, or due dates, review assessment submissions, or post any Announcements.
They can also view all of the course material in Learn but are unable to react to the material or submit responses to any exercises or assessments.
Assistant
Assistants are able to see the course in Create, complete with analytics, learner engagement, exercise responses, and assessment submissions. They are also able to send out announcements and review assessment submissions.
Assistants cannot change any course materials, details, visibility, or due dates.
They also have full access to the course in Learn, including the ability to react to course material, leave comments, and submit responses to exercises and assessments.
Creator
Creators have full access to the course in both Create and Learn.
In Create, they are the only ones who can change course materials, details, due dates, and visibility.
