This article outlines steps to configure an Honor Education Production integration in Blackboard.

Linking to Honor Learn from Blackboard LMS
Setup
As a Blackboard admin, open the Admin panel.
In the Integrations section, click LTI Tool Providers.
Click on Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.
Registering LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool using Client ID
In the Client ID field, enter d4fa8f29-a9e6-4b94-9b72-1778045e1d8c
.
After clicking Submit, you will be shown the Tool Status section, with most of the configuration details already populated.
Make note of the Deployment ID, to provide to Honor Education later.
Mark the integration as Approved in order to enable it. This can also be done from the main LTI Tool Providers page.
In the Institution Policies section, ensure that the following user fields are checked:

Role in Course
-
Name
-
Email Address
Also, Allow Membership Service Access should be set to Yes.
Click Submit.
Once the integration is marked as Approved, a link to the integration can be added to a course using:

Books & Tools, or
-
Content menu → Content Market (under Institution Tools)
Performing the LTI Launch
Add the integration to a test course using Books & Tools or Content Market. Click on the link to perform an initial LTI launch to Honor Education.
You may see an error about access. This is expected.
After performing the initial LTI launch, provide Deployment ID to Honor Education to complete the LTI integration setup.
