As of October 2023, instructors can access detailed breakdowns of student activity and progress, right in Honor Create.
We display engagement on the following levels: Course-wide, Topic-wide, and at the Prompt or Material level.
Course Engagement Analytics
To access Engagement analytics on the Course-level, just open up your course. You’ll see three views of student activity in the sidebar on the right:
Course Progress, Course Time Spent, and Course Reactions.
Course Progress shows a snapshot of your students’ progress through the entire course. Each green box represents a Topic. As your students progress through that Topic, the box fills up.
Click on this panel for a more detailed breakdown.
Course Time Spent shows a boxplot of the distribution of the average time each of your students has spent on topics in the Course. The boxplot shows the median time spent (middle line), as well as the 25th and 75th percentile of the time spent (left and right boundaries of the blue rectangle), and the minimum and maximum time spent (left and right dashes).
Click this panel to see this data broken down by Topic. This view shows the total time spent in each of the Topics in your course.
Course Reactions shows the breakdown of all the Reactions your students have left in the Course. Click the panel to see this data broken down by Topic.
Finally, on the bottom right, you can also download CSV reports on your students’ Prompt Responses, Reactions, and progress through each piece of material.
