Prompts are a way to drive engagement with your learners within a course. There are three types of Prompts: Short Answer, Quick Poll, and File Upload. Learners can use these to interact with you and each other within the course.
To add a new Prompt, click the Add + button in the upper left corner within a given Topic. This will bring up the Prompt Creation Window. Give your Prompt a title and type the Prompt in the Prompt box.
If you want your students to be able to view each other’s responses, check the box marked “Display responses.”
When enabled, Collective Prompts are displayed to other students when either 5 students have submitted or 50% of the learners have submitted. At this time, these are set parameters but can be updated on the institutional level. If you have questions or want to adjust these parameters for your institution, reach out to support@honor.education.
When you are finished setting up your Prompt, click Done in the lower right corner.
Viewing Student Submissions
As your students are working through the Prompts in your course, you can check back any time for a detailed breakdown of their submissions. Student submissions show up in the right-hand column. You can read through them by clicking the Prompt Responses panel.
